Fresh Bridal Makeup

July 18, 2015

Hello friends! Here a fresh simple bridal makeup perfect for a beach or garden celebration.

A lot of times my clients would demand for a simple and fresh makeup. And when they say FRESH, I see coral lips, peachy cheeks, simple eye makeup with long lashes and perfectly groomed brows.

Let's begin this tutorial with a bare clean face. A strict skin care is necessary months before your wedding day. By taking great care of your face, you are ensured to have a smooth clean canvass for your makeup.

Here's a video of my Bridal Skin Care. (NOTE: You don't necessarily have to buy the products mentioned in the video, you just have to find the right products for your skin type.)

A well moisturized face is the foundation for any products you will be applying. It allows your makeup to have a good long lasting hold on skin. I love using this Nature Republic's Aloe Vera Gel. It's a multi- purpose product that can bring back the moisture on your face.

Since you will be wearing this makeup look the whole day, priming the skin is a MUST. This affordable Baby Skin Pore Eraser Primer is the bomb! It fills up your wrinkles and diminishes the appearance of large pores. It does the job so well.

This is your day! All eyes will be on you and we have to make sure you'll be sporting a flawless even toned skin. This Kate Powderless Liquid Foundation will give you the right coverage without making your skin cakey. It's light weight formula feels like second skin.

Let's be real. The night before your wedding, you won't be able to have a complete 8-hour sleep and that's what concealers are for! This naturactor concealer will erase dark circles under your beautiful eyes.

If incase, you have gained weight before your wedding day, NO WORRIES! You can slim it down using a contouring cream that registers well on photos! Give this Jazzy Photo ready Foundation a try.

Kilay Tutorial

July 6, 2015

Hello Friends! They say that the eyes are the windows to your soul. But no one will see through your soul if bushy unkempt eyebrows block the view. Why don't we try to frame them, shall we?
Check out this post because this will certainly give you a whole new appreciation for your eyebrows. Having said that, this tutorial will help you get that well defined brows in under 2 minutes! Don't believe me? Then let's start!

See the difference? Right Side is well groomed while the left is just pure brow hair.

Step 1: Begin with your natural brows plucked or shaved.

Step 2: Determine how long and pointy you want your eyebrows to be and start drawing that using Nichido Brow Pencil in Chestnut. Tip: Work with a freshly sharpened pencil.

Step 3: Draw 2 parallel lines that follows the hair line of your natural brows. This will be your outline for the shape that you want.

See how the parallel lines tapered as it reached the tail of the brows?
Step 4: Take your Shawill 3 Shade Eyebrow Kit and start with the darkest shade for the tail, medium brown for the center and ash brown for the beginning of the brows.

Tip: When you reach the beginning of the brows, brush up to give it a more natural blurry look.
Step 5: Let's fix all the boo boos with my fave concealer, LA Girl Pro Concealer in Pure Beige. I like this because it has a built in brush which make life more convenient.

And this is the final look! Yey! Perfect brows in 2 minutes! ( It takes practice but once you get the hang of it, you can do this in even less than a minute)

Here's a more in depth video tutorial:
